Indira Gandhi College of Nursing

Indira Gandhi College of Nursing was established in the year 2006 under Co Operative hospitals society Ltd No E288. The college started with a vision of becoming a centre of excellence in the area of “Nursing Education and nursing care professionals”. The college prepares competent nursing care professionals who can take up the key roles in the hospitals and nursing colleges.

Our mission is to develop and enhance the opportunities for the students where they can utilize best with their internal capabilities and hidden skills, to promote the health and well – being of all people by preparing future leaders and scholars in nursing. Our efforts is to work unitely to bring complete intellectual, cultural, social and economic qualities in students for competent professional nursing care.

We foster collaborative inter disciplinary relationships that promote mutual respect and team work, strengthen patient care and facilitate smooth care transitions for our patients. We challenge each other to achieve excellence, through continous quality improvement activities
