At IRS Group, we help our students make lasting work or study achievements through learning and examination preparation. Our concerted effort is to improve their performance and help them realize their most important goals.

IRS Group is a corporate group that was formed out of the merger of three training Institutes. The Independent institutes, IAA, Smart Lingua and RN Center were founded in 2014 by a group of young entrepreneurs and educationalists headed by the Group Chairman Arun Chandran.

History

IRS Group was established in 2014 in its erstwhile identities of IAA, RN Center and Smart Lingua. Imparting world class training for high-stakes examinations was at the core of all the three institutions. However, they were diverse in their areas of specialization and modus operandi.

IAA has a focus on developing candidates for both the work place (primarily in the financial sector) and competitive examinations. The first venture of IAA was to offer a Diploma in Professional Accounting which would enhance the skills of young accountants and prepare them to take on challenging tasks in the work place. The diploma was also helpful for aspiring accountants who had little or no professional training in accounting.

Later the Diploma was officially approved by the Government of Kerala under the aegis of SIDCO and the value of the certification has since gone up. IAA also offered expert training in Tally, one of the most popular accounting software. Another offshoot of IAA was coaching for competitive examinations such as Bank Exams, SSC, and Railway Board Exams.

RN Center too started operations in 2014 even though the concept had been in the making for a few years before the founding. Kerala, the Indian state where the operations started is world renowned for its healthcare professionals, especially nurses, who work across the globe.

Despite the high reputation and professionalism that Nurses, Pharmacists and other Healthcare professionals from the state are given, it is often the high-stakes examinations that become a hurdle for many who aspire to work abroad. This includes Knowledge Based Tests conducted by various Governments and Healthcare Boards such as NCLEX-RN (the USA and Canada), Competence test and OSCE (the UK), HAAD (Abu Dhabi), DHA (Dubai), and the MOH / Prometric tests (Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait).

RN Center also offered hassle free Exam and Dataflow Registration services to the students who have immensely benefited from the expertise. In 2015, RN Center branched out to the bustling metropolis of Hyderabad in Telungana State.

Smart Lingua’s forte has been English Language Training and within a short stint was able to become one of the leading Language Training Centers in Kerala. Smart Lingua’s prime focus was on preparing students for IELTS, the world’s most popular English Language Tests owned jointly by the University of Cambridge, the British Council and IDP: IELTS Australia. We were also one of the first authorized training partners of Pearson for the PTE-Academic tests.

IRS Group still retains its position as one of the few institutes with trainers certified by Pearson for PTE-Academic test preparation. Smart Lingua was also a leading trainer for the OET, owned by the University of Cambridge and Boxhill Institute.

By the year 2016, there was an acute need to bring the operations under one umbrella, which triggered the process of merger. The merged entity, IRS Group continues the saga, by carrying forward all the activities and operations which were earlier under separate heads.

The merger has resulted in the Group becoming a powerhouse of educational and professional services and moves forward to become stronger, without losing the friendliness, charm and uniqueness it had at the beginning.
