She is a qualified teacher with 20+ years of rich experience in guiding students in English Language, English Literature, Spoken English, Public Speaking, Soft Skills Training, Personality Development and Grooming. Convent educated throughout (ICSE & ISC), she has done her B.A (English Hons.)

From the University of Calcutta and M.A (English Literature) from the Rabindra Bharati University and presently, she is undergoing her PhD. She is Scholarship holder from the English Speaking Union, UK, besides holding prestigious Teacher's Training Certificate from the University of Cambridge, UK.

She is Certified NPTEL Scholar from IIT, Roorkee (Body Language) and from IIT, Kanpur (Effective Writing).  Her specialization is English - teaching, research, skills development and corporate training.

In her academic career spanning more than two decades, she served some of the most sought after and prestigious national level educational institutions like Johnson's Grammar School ICSE Hyderabad, NSHM Knowledge Campus, Techno India Group & University, Sikkim Manipal University, Nopany Institute of Management Studies and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) to name a few.

Presently she is associated with Amity University, Kolkata. She offers tuition classes on English, History, Civics and Political Science for Class 6 to 12 (ICSE, ISC & CBSE Boards) at Gauri Bari Kolkata, near Paresnath Mandir, a landmark of North Kolkata.

Besides, she offers tuition classes on Spoken English, Public Speaking, Employability and Soft Skills Training. KOEL MA’AM’S TUTORIAL offers online, offline and hybrid interactive sessions. Private Classes and Group Classes are available as per students’ convenience.
