Founded in 2013, MakerLabs is a makerspace in Vancouver, Canada, born out of a vision to create the best possible space for making.

MakerLabs has 26,000 square feet of workshops, studios and common areas including a wood shop, metal shop, ceramics studio, CNC routers, laser cutters, sewing machines, and much more. Each tool area has a safety and orientation classes required for access. We also have a fabrication team that can make almost anything. If you have an idea, let us know how we can help you make it happen!

3D Printing 101

In this orientation, you will learn how 3D printers work and how to set-up and run the 3D printer. You will learn the basics of 3D printing technologies and ways of using them creatively, and you will become familiar with MakerLabs' resources available for member and drop-in use.

WoodLab 101

WoodLab 101 covers the safe operation of the core tools in the MakerLabs woodshop. Members and drop-in members must take this orientation before using the woodshop.
