I am a Counselling Therapist and Life Coach in private practice with over 25 years experience in a variety of contexts. I have been facilitating Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction groups since 2001.The threads that run through my work are these questions:
• What wakes us up?
• How do we meet life's challenges with awareness, compassion and courage?
• How do we cultivate a fulfilling life with satisfying relationships?
These questions have led me to professional training in the precise and effective methods of Transactional Analysis, Redecision Therapy, Co-active Coaching, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Focusing, to name a few. They have also inspired 30 years of mindfulness meditation practice, and exploration into the mind/body connection through the practices of yoga and chi gong.
Mindfulness training focuses on bringing the attention fully to the body, feeling states and thought patterns.
