Miss Zoe's School Of Dance is a fun and vibrant dance school in Wollongong (since 2006), Kiama (since 2018) and Coledale (since 2019).
It is non-selective (meaning no performance troupes) and caters for children of all ages (from 2+ yrs) as well as adults in the styles of hip hop, jazz, ballet, contemporary, and tap; as well as offering acrobatics, musical theatre, singing, Tiny Dancer Combo Classes, Preschool Fun Classes, Fitness, and non-performing beginner dance classes for adults.
We also offer private lessons. All students have the opportunity to perform at various fetes and events throughout the year, as well as our Mid-Year and End of Year Concerts.
The dance school runs its classes in 3 locations and offers the most affordable prices around. There is no registration fee and no expensive costume costs! Since its establishment in late 2006, Miss Zoe's has grown and grown, with more students enrolling each year.
Over the years we have been involved in numerous community events and put on many successful concerts. For the past two years we have been nominated as a Finalist in the Australian Small Business Champion Awards.
In both 2018 and 2019 we were honoured to win the Outstanding Dance Studio category in the Illawarra & South Coast Local Business Awards. Both years also saw Miss Zoe nominated for Outstanding Business Person of the Year in the Illawarra & South Coast Local Business Awards.
At Miss Zoe's our motto is "fun and fitness". There is no pressure in classes and everyone is welcome - you can join at any time of year. Miss Zoe's School of Dance also does birthday parties & has an off-shoot company Miss Zoe's Productions
Tap at Miss Zoe’s is fun, upbeat, and current – students can make as much noise as they want! Students will learn tap technique with no pressure of exams.
Our private lessons are suitable for all ages and can be tailored to your needs – whether it be learning routines for performances, focussing on technique, learning a new style, developing your existing skills, or even just learning how to move if you do not want to go in to a group class.
These fun, physical classes will teach a variety of acrobatic skills in a safe and encouraging environment – from rolls, handstands, cartwheels, & walkovers to lifts (dependent on current COVID regulations), balances and strength training. Exclusive Boys Hip Hop classes take the characteristics and key components of our typical Hip Hop classes whilst eliminating the intimidation of composite classes.
Jazz and hip hop are both popular styles of dance and at Miss Zoe’s we focus on learning jazz technique, hip hop style, and performance skills.
