Murray Youth Performing Arts Albury offer a wide range of dance styles, for the beginner to the advanced dancer. There are also lessons for all age groups from toddlers to adult classes. We have an inclusive ethos and believe if you want to dance then we will teach you.
Our dance school has been open and operating for 30 years and has been under the guardianship of our director Ms Libby Ellis since 2014.
Murray Youth Performing Arts in addition to the dance lessons, also offers Holiday Programs, nationally recognised training, and is the Albury Wondonga provider of Ready Set Dance and Ready Set Ballet.
Highland is a sophisticated form of national dancing that originated in Scotland. However now the style is performed across the world.
This is a one hour combo class that includes jazz, tap, hip hop, singing, music and a whole lot of FUN for girls and boys!
MYPA is an official Acrobatic Arts recognised studio, following the Acrobatic Arts syllabus.
Musical Theatre combines music, drama and dance together in a single lesson. Using songs from popular stage musicals, this is a fun class that builds students’ performance skills along with confidence.
Our hip-hop dance classes include a variety of different street dance styles. This includes popping, locking and funk. All of our hip-hop classes are also performed to age appropriate music.
