Nadgunjan was established in 1975 in Ujjain by pandit Krishnakant Shukla. He was born in the village of Lasudiya Bhrahmin (Dewas) . He took his primary musical education from his maternal Grand Father Pandit Nanuram ji Sharma.
PT. Sharma was a famous orator and actor even a British officer was impressed when he witnessed his role even against British governance in one of the famous plays.
