RP4K began in Winnipeg in 1998. Since then we have taught game programming to over 14,000 students who have cumulatively inputted over 5 million lines of code.
Our vision is to be the best in the world at teaching game programming to kids. We have stuck to the maximum of 4 students per instructor since 1998.
In these courses students learn about 3D models, textures, materials, component based programming and Unity specific functions such as prefabs, parenting, lists, tags, delegates and coroutines. Â
In these courses students expand upon Object Oriented programming fundamentals and learn about inheritance, camera manipulation, chasing algorithms, reading and writing to text files, devices, overriding and overloading.
Our team at Real Programming 4 Kids is committed to building the ideal game programming courses for kids to develop and build upon their programming knowledge.
RP4K Developing level courses strive to build on the fundamentals established in our Beginner level content. At this point, students have been introduced to the world of coding through the worlds of Java Pizza Bandit or Python Serpent Temple, our Beginner level courses.
The core concepts courses provide a unique challenge tailored to a student’s programming ability. Students will be challenged through multiple mini projects that specialize on fundamental concepts all programming languages share.
