Saskatchewan Association for Safe Workplaces in Health (SASWH) is a non-profit association, established March 12, 2010, which is funded by healthcare employers through a portion of their Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) premiums.
SASWH is governed by a Board of Directors representing health services workers, employers and unions with a vision to make workplace health and safety.
A priority for all. This unprecedented, co-operative level of labour and management participation is critical to SASWH’s success at eliminating injuries within the health care sector.
SASWH offers this training in a classroom format.
SASWH offers OHC Level I in a one-day classroom format followed by support from SASWH’s Safety Specialists. In addition, SASWH offers Effective Occupational Health Committees in Healthcare as additional support to OHCs.
The Mental Health First Aid training program is offered by Saskatchewan Association for Safe Workplaces in Health. SASWH offers this two-day training in a classroom format.
Incident Reporting & Investigation training program is offered by Saskatchewan Association for Safe Workplaces in Health. SASWH offers this training in a classroom format. A-Train the Trainer course is also offered by SASWH.
