The Symbiosis International Education Centre (SCIE) embraces a unique tradition of access and opportunity derived from the Symbiosis International University’s vision of ‘Promoting international understanding through quality education’. SCIE aspires to offer educational opportunities (in teaching-learning, research and service) and international exposure to its faculty, staff and students. Additionally, SCIE’s mandate is to create a ‘home away from home’ for its diverse student community (from over 85 countries) and foster all-round student success while they learn and live at Symbiosis.

• Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE) is a nodal department created for international students.
• The SCIE department supports international students throughout their journey at Symbiosis, right from the time of their admission till they graduate from the University.
• This department acts as a common platform for international students , not only of SIU but from colleges and Universities across Pune, to represent their interests and voice their concerns through a dedicated international student council.
• SCIE organizes orientation programs for International Students to orient them with the philosophy of the University, respective institutes, and the city. This enables them to appreciate the local culture and surroundings better.
