Tehmi Grant Institute of Nursing Education, popularly known as Ruby Hall Clinic’s College of Nursing, was established in the year 1999 to offer Diploma Programs. It was an important aspiration of our former Chairman and Managing Trustee, Honorable Padamabhushan Late Dr. K.B Grant and his beloved wife Late Mrs. Tehmi Grant.
It was their dedication, devotion, determination and hard work that helped to make this an Institute of high repute. In 2004, the institute was upgraded to offer a B.Sc. Nursing degree program and thereafter in 2008 post graduate program M.Sc. Nursing was started.
The institute is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra, Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai.
The institute is located in seven storied spacious building adjacent to Ruby Hall Clinic in a prime area of Pune city, half-a-km from the railway station and the bus stand and 4 kilometers from the airport. It is self-sufficient in all the aspects with full-fledged physical facilities as per apex body norms.
The institute is well equipped with simulation laboratories, computers, internet facilities and a spacious library with Springer Data Base and MUHS facilities. Students have an access to the Central Library located in Ruby Hall Clinic. An excellent clinical facility in parent hospital (RHC) which has 9 NABH and NABL certifications and hostel facilities with all amenities is our strength.
Aim of the undergraduate nursing program is to produce knowledgeable competent nurses with clear critical thinking skills who are caring, motivated, assertive and well-disciplined responding to the changing needs of profession, healthcare delivery system and society.
