Introduction

TMV's IHMCT was established in the year 2007under the wings of Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth. The programs offered by the institute impart the zeal to achieve excellence in every aspect and compassing all major themes of various technical and management subjects as core topics for study, having broadened the scope of job opportunities which otherwise were limited only to hotels. The programs designed by the Institute try to meet the needs of the Hospitality and Tourism industry at large.

In the current NAAC assessment, the institute has been appreciated for it's academic excellence by NAAC committee and the Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth was conferred with the grade 'B++'.

HoD's Message

In the present scenario of globalization, the Hospitality & Tourism Industry has been identified as the fastest developing industry in the commercial world. It is ranked as one of the highest foreign exchange revenue earners and is predicted to be India's largest industry in the near future. There will be a great demand for well-qualified staff with exciting and rewarding career opportunities.

Our programs offered are as per the New Education Policy (NEP 2020), impart the zeal to achieve excellence in every aspect encompassing all major themes of various technical and management subjects as core topics for study. Programs designed to broaden the scope of job opportunities which otherwise was limited to only hotels. We are one of the very few institutes offering Tourism Degree program in India. Our Department has been included in World Book of Records, London for preparing and display of 102 Indian Dessert in 4 hours by our undergraduate students and faculty.

We have excellent industry linkages to ensure job opportunities and training in India as well as abroad. Learning the skills required for this demanding profession would not be possible without skilled and proficient faculties which are an asset of our organization. We work as a team to give our students the best !!
