History of the Temple

Established in 1947, our first home was purchased at 137 Huron Street in Toronto and remained a safe, warm and happy place to nurture and share the religious aspects of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism and accommodate our growing social activities.Over six decades later, two location changes, our Sangha (community) is thrilled to call 1011 Sheppard Avenue West, our home.
