The WE Language Institute gives primary importance to the application of the living language. From the outset, learners are immersed in the language as used by native speakers and are assisted in the production of progressively more complicated utterances.
In the initial stage, the main focus is on sounds and structures; more comprehensive vocabulary building only sets in after learners have come to grips with the basic principles of the language.
A strict monolingual approach to foreign language teaching has an intimidating effect on many learners, especially at the beginner's level.
The WE Language Institute, therefore, employs a bilingual methodology for the teaching of German, French, and Dutch that permits learners to smoothly move from an English-moderated classroom into a setting dominated by the target language.
Please note that you will need a good command of English in order to successfully participate in all classroom activities.
We offer courses at A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1 levels in German (from beginners to effective operational proficiency level). We prepare candidates for the Goethe and ÖSD exams.
Dutch is offered at the A1 level. We assist candidates with the preparation for the Dutch Civil Integration Exam. Dutch is closely related to German and English and having a command of either of these languages will significantly help in learning Dutch.
French is offered at levels A1, A2, and B1.Next to English, French remains the second most important lingua franca.
The English language taught at WE Language Institute follows internationally accepted standards and helps you to acquire practices that are acceptable to educated English speakers throughout the world.
