Crane Operator training is offered by Mainport Training for all skill level. The company operates Training Centres in the south of the UK and also delivers courses through a network of Training Sites in all parts of the UK.

This training course can be delivered in our centre or on-site at your business premises. The Overhead Gantry Crane training course, often referred to as an OHC, will give you the skills needed to be a safe and efficient pendant and remote-controlled gantry crane operator.

Our novice crane operator training courses are aimed at those with little or no experience of working with cranes. They are usually offered alongside your order of a new Pelloby crane, but we can also carry these out when you want to train new staff members on an existing lifting system.

This course is completed over 2 days and you do not need any previous certification to attend. The course covers theory, practical and assessments which are accredited by ITSSAR.

Overhead Crane training is offered by UK Industries training for all skill level. We have a large indoor training centre with warehouse spaces for the practical part of IPAF, Forklift, PASMA.

By the end of the course the successful candidates will be able to carry out a safe pre-shift inspection and be able to operate the machine safely and correctly in accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions and accepted good practice.

All crane operator training is carried out in small groups so that you receive plenty of individual attention, supplemented by course materials. We work closely with the Health and Safety Executive to endure that our materials reflect current safe working practices.
