HL Training Services is an ITSSAR accredited training centre which started as a partnership in 1988 delivering forklift operator training run by partners Jeff Longdon and Vince Hueston. In 2003 Jeff semi-retired due to ill-health and Vince Jr joined the company. The company became limited when Angela, Vince Seniors wife, joined the company 2004. 2004 was also the year we decided to introduce forklift instructor training, as well as ITSSAR.
In 2009 Vince Jr gained his ITSSAR tutor status, at that Vince Jr was the youngest tutor in the ITSSAR organisation. HL Training Services now have the only two ITSSAR tutors in the South West of England.
Our business has grown from two full time instructors and 1 full time administrator to up to 10 full and part time instructors and 5 administrative staff. Vince Jnr has been promoted to technical director and deals with HSE and training queries. HL Training Services are committed to further development and training of all its staff.
This training course is designed to give candidates an understanding of the current Work at Height Regulations 2005. We will cover what this regulation means for both employees and their employer.
The aim of this Overhead Crane training course is to ensure the candidates have the skills to safely operate remote/pendant cranes (or both depending on your requirements).
Asbestos awareness training is essential for workers and supervisors who and it provides candidates with the information they need to avoid work that may disturb asbestos during normal work.
Abrasive wheel training is crucial to workplace safety. We provide novice and refresher courses to help you access the right level of training for your team. Both of our abrasive wheel training courses are one day and available for teams of up to six candidates.
HL Training Services provides accredited operator and instructor training for Lorry Mounted Cranes. Each of our HIAB training courses is accredited by one of three industry-recognised accrediting bodies; ITSSAR, AITT, and RTITB.
