This the working at height course training course is theory based and designed to teach candidates to plan any work at height.
Course Content;
This course provides an overview of all relevant Health & Safety Laws and Regulations
We cover keeping yourself properly protected and the correct personal protective equipment (PPE)
You will learn how to conduct a Risk Assessment
Together, we shall explore the responsibilities of employees and their employers
The course will also cover the importance of keeping your equipment in good order with regular maintenance
You will sit a theory test paper, take questions and review.
Upon the successful completion of this course, candidates will receive an in-house working at height certificate with a 5-year expiry date.
HL Training Services is an ITSSAR accredited training centre which started as a partnership in 1988 delivering forklift operator training run by partners Jeff Longdon and Vince Hueston. In 2003 Jeff semi-retired due to ill-health and Vince Jr joined the company. The company became limited when Angela, Vince Seniors wife, joined the company 2004. 2004 was also the year we decided to introduce forklift instructor training, as well as ITSSAR.
In 2009 Vince Jr gained his ITSSAR tutor status, at that Vince Jr was the youngest tutor in the ITSSAR organisation. HL Training Services now have the only two ITSSAR tutors in the South West of England.
Our business has grown from two full time instructors and 1 full time administrator to up to 10 full and part time instructors and 5 administrative staff. Vince Jnr has been promoted to technical director and deals with HSE and training queries. HL Training Services are committed to further development and training of all its staff.
