This Program is designed to provide the information and hands-on practice necessary for construction workers to be able to safely connect, activate, and disconnect heaters

Training for individuals who use propane powered construction heaters (up to 400,000 BTUH) and hand-held torches. Students who only require instruction on the safe use of hand-held torches may take P?T?I’s 400-08 – Propane Torches course instead of this course.

Through training and skill development propane operators will become more knowledgeable on the safety of handling this equipment properly. As a result participants will feel confident they have the ability to safely and proficient operate the heaters. 

This legislated training requirement is recognized by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) and must be renewed every three years.

This 1/2 day Training Program is conducted at your site. It consists of classroom training session , participant evaluation and is followed by a practical operating evaluation specific to your companies needs.
