We will introduce you to role of the bookkeeper and the basic techniques needed to complete simple bookkeeping activities. Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however it is recommended that students begin their studies with a good standard of English and maths

The course will introduce students to the double-entry bookkeeping system, and associated documents and processes. Students will reach the stage of extracting an initial trial balance, before any adjustments are made.
Gain the skills and essential knowledge needed for completing the manual bookkeeping activities that underpin all accountancy and finance roles.
Students completing this qualification will develop an understanding of the role of the bookkeeper, including the need to produce timely and accurate work and to follow ethical principles. Daytime and evening classes will be available, and there will be multiple start dates through the year.
Awarded by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping will give you a solid introduction to bookkeeping and basic accounting practices to give you confidence in the workplace.
This AAT Level 1 Access Award in Bookkeeping is a part-time course designed for people who want to enter the accounting and bookkeeping field.
