We would also like to take this opportunity to connect with our land.
We acknowledge that our studio is situated in the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
We strive to be accountable by acknowledging this history and respecting our relationship with our Indigenous community, on whose ancient and sacred land we live, work and dance.
Let us journey together.
A style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. A defining characteristic of acro is the smooth, graceful transitions between dance and acrobatic movements.
Beginner level students will learn acro basics and further improve flexibility. Advancement thru the levels will include learning more complex acro skills, partnering and group work.
We follow the syllabus designed by Acrobatic Arts to ensure safety of learned skills. Acro technique takes a routine to the next level by adding a wow factor to choreography.
Your child will come out of class having learned amazing tricks like splits, backbends, rolls and cartwheels, as well as some very impressive partner and group tricks and balances.
A combination of dance and gymnastics. Dancers will learn how to properly develop acrobatic and gymnastics skills with emphasis on strength and flexibility. For all you tumblers out there, it’s time to ‘Rock and Roll’!!
