Adult Acro is a progressive 7-week course focusing on full body conditioning, flexibility, balance, and strength training through acrobatics.
The session will begin with the instruction of acrobatic fundamentals such as balances, splits, cartwheels, rolls, and back bends. As the session continues, dancers will be challenged with progressive acrobatic skills and dance elements.
This class involves safe and hands-on spotting techniques by our qualified Acrobatics instructor.
We would also like to take this opportunity to connect with our land.
We acknowledge that our studio is situated in the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.

Acrodance blends classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements.
During class students will work on handstands, chest & elbow stands as well as walkovers, cartwheels and tumbling.
Students learn Acrobatic Skills such as handstands, cartwheels, chest stands, elbow stands, walkovers, side and front aerial, and tumbling lines.
Promotes physical flexibility and teamwork using various jazz and acrobatic techniques. Safety, cordination and teamwork are all basic components of this class in addition to teaching basic and advanced acrobatics and dance.
Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance techniques with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character and its unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics.
