Acrobatics add back handsprings to the list of skills. This is a skill class only (no dance routine learnt) ABDS prides itself on safety and houses a number of different gymnastic matts to provide cushioning and support whilst students are learning their skills.
Our Acro class are graded and are suitable for beginners through to experienced tumblers. Our Acro dancers learn how to flip & tumble as well as some basic contortion & partnering work
For students who want to learn acrobatics skills such as cartwheels, backward walkovers, hand stands and more. All learnt safely under the guidance of experienced staff.
We have both Intro to Acrobatics and Advanced Acrobatics at Upstaged Dance. Our intro to Acrobatics classes will focus on strength and flexibility as well as simple tumbling and balancing to begin.
