DurationOur Acrobatic Students enjoy learning tumbles, cartwheels, handstands, balances and stability incorporating elements of basic flips. We use the Acrodance, this program will enhance the skills and techniques taught in our acrobatics classes for all ages.
Children are grouped into levels not age and are taught basic skills progressing to advanced tumbling and flips with a strong emphasis on core body awareness in a safe qualified controlled environment.
At Elite Dance Academy we provide dance classes in many genres of dance including Cecchetti Classical Ballet, Glenn Wood Tap, Jazz, Modern Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop, Breakdance, Musical Theatre, Broadway Jazz, Contemporary dance and Acrobatics. We now also have Ready Set Dance for our pre-school age students , this is a fabulous program providing Confidence , Creativity and Coordination.
Our qualified & experienced dance teachers are trained to provide professional lessons in a fun and supportive environment according to the relevant syllabus. The teachers constantly attend workshops and classes to bring new styles and techniques to the Elite Dance Academy.
The students learn to dance whilst improving their confidence, flexibility, co-ordination, posture and fitness. The students make new friends whilst dancing and performing.
Our Acro class are graded and are suitable for beginners through to experienced tumblers. Our Acro dancers learn how to flip & tumble as well as some basic contortion & partnering work
This internationally recognized syllabi is based on safe and effective progressions with proven results in five divisions: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling.
Acrobatics is a dynamic and important aspect of the performing arts and is very beneficial in the flexibility, and strength, of the dancer.
Acro Dance Lessons are offered by CV Dance Studio for all ages and skills. It is our objective to inspire a passion for the art of dance in every child who passes through our doors.
The Acrobatics class is a fun dynamic lesson based on the current style of today’s gymnastic lifts & tricks. With the class being conducted by teachers who are currently in the professional dance arena.
