The dance movements in acro are founded in ballet, jazz, lyrical and modern dance styles. We combine techniques such as rolls, hand stands, lifts and cartwheels etc. in solo, double and group tricks.
Now in our 9th year on the Central Coast, our complex comprising of 3 fully equipped studios is a friendly center where children, teenagers, and adults can be educated in their chosen dance styles.
We aim to help all students attain better posture and coordination, better flexibility and musical appreciation, as well as encourage self-discipline and artistic skills in a fun and welcoming environment.
Each and every student attending this school is given the best possible training, either personally, or by my caring and qualified staff, in the dance style of their choice.
Students participating in Acro Dance must also be enrolled in jazz and/or ballet classes as it compliments these styles and develops a stronger dancer and enables safe dance technique.
Acro Lessons are offered by Dance Junction for all ages and skills. Dance Junction offers students the choice to take part in eisteddfods, public performances & exams.
Students develop strength and flexibility as they learn to do cartwheels, walkovers and aerial feats.
Our Acrobatic Students enjoy learning tumbles, cartwheels, handstands, balances and stability incorporating elements of basic flips.
Acrobatic Dance, or Acro as it is commonly referred to by dance professionals, is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements.
