This course is suitable for students who have already attended the introduction and next steps courses and wish to pursue their interest in writing fact, fiction, or poetry.

This course will further develop your skills and knowledge, enabling you to become a better creative writer.

What Will I Learn?

During the course you will work with given themes as well as utilising independent thought and personal experiences to explore the written word.

You will be asked to write at home and bring written work back to class for both peer and tutor feedback.

Areas Covered Include:

  • Further novel writing

  • Writing an effective ending

  • Genre writing (the exact genres to be covered will depend on the class and their interests)

  • Getting published: A Q&A session and any other subjects you would like more information on.
