English Exam Preparation is designed to polish up English skills in ISEB multiple choice comprehensions, written comprehensions, ISEB grammar and vocabulary plus verbal reasoning. Creative and descriptive writing is also covered.
Writing is similar to the opening of a chess game: the pieces must be put in place at the start. The key to successful stories and descriptions lies in structure and planning. Both of these are at the heart of what we do in creative writing.
We offer intensive holiday workshops as well as weekly term lessons. Sessions involve direct work as well as demonstrations on follow-up exercises at home. Homework is set (5-10 mins per day) as regular practise is important in speeding up and achieving goals.
