Advanced Maritime Security Masterclass aims to provide Government and Industry practitioners whom are responsible for the management of the ISPS Code with a consolidated and up-to-date source of guidance material including best practices
The International Ships and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code came into effect on 1 July 2004 as mandated by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). It has posed significant implementation challenges to the maritime and port industries throughout the world. Over the years, IMO has provided further guidance in the form of Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) Circulars and model training courses to update and to amplify the ISPS Code.
