With Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) also known as micro-needling, we focus on understanding hair growth cycles and the different hair growth stages, understanding the causes of hair loss and how this can be treated.

It is a cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles (micro-needling the skin). It is a technique for which research is ongoing but has been used for a number of skin problems including scarring and acne.

 

 

Objectives:

  • 1.) To understand the theory behind collagen induction therapy, how it works in the epidermis and dermis, what kind of collagen is stimulated, the inflammation caused and healing process of the scalp.
  • 2.) To be able to effectively utilise micro-needling treatments for thinning hair, hair loss and all forms of Alopecia.

 

In the microneedling training course for Hair Loss and Alopecia, we focus on understanding hair growth cycles and the different hair growth stages, understanding the causes of hair loss and how this can be treated.

Through combination therapies and treatments, we are can improve hair follicle health and its activity and increase hair growth and thicker, healthier hair.
