One of the most profoundly beautiful instruments, the violin is a staple of classical music. Through learning the violin, students gain a thorough understanding of musical theory, while also developing a highly refined musical ear and feel.
The violin is a string instrument which has four strings and is played with a bow. The violin is the smallest and highest pitched string instrument typically used in western music.
Strings Lessons are offered by BMS Academy. Playing an instrument is fun and joyful. But it’s so much more than that.
The St. Albans School of Music currently conducts classes in Violin. The lessons are all conducted on a one to one basis but small groups can be organised, preferably on enrolment at the same time.
Our Violin teacher, Michael, gets students to love the Violin by teaching them to play popular rock, pop, and classical songs while implementing basic concepts and skills like bowing techniques, finger placement, scales, intonation, key differentiation, and rhythm.
