The ISTD is accredited by Ofqual. We teach children from three years of age onwards and many former students have gone on to have successful and fulfilling careers in the performing arts worldwide as performers, educators and administrators. We also have had students go on to further their education at Laine Theatre Arts, Bird College, Italia Conti, Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, Performers College and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland

Tap dance is fun and energetic class where the dancers use their feet to strike the floor beating out different rhythms. Students have the opportunity to take exams.
Tap is rhythm and rhythm is tap. From Intro through to Prep we learn the basics and get to grips with using our ball and heel taps to discover the different sounds and steps that can be done.
