This course offers an introduction to the alphabet, pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary of Modern Standard Arabic. Students will learn to read the primary consonants and vowels of the Arabic alphabet in the context of several key everyday words and greetings.
Snippets of grammar (grammatical gender, adjectival phrases, nominal sentences, noun case-declension) will be delivered through concise outlines and activated through interactive exercises and audio-visual materials. Students will learn to read and reproduce a complete introductory conversation in Arabic, exchanging basic greetings and concise biographical information.

Learn just enough language to help migrants and foreigners get better access to healthcare. Suitable for practice managers, doctors, health professionals, receptionists, etc. This course includes a copy of our Communication Cards for Health Workers.
Arabic Language course is offered by Victorian School of Languages. Â In standards and content, courses are comparable to those offered in day school language classes, and follow a standard course design.
Arabic language courses in regular evening classes are conducted in four 10-week terms per year. We have classes from beginner to advanced level. Each class has one 90-minute session per week unless indicated otherwise. The fee for our online Arabic evening classes is $359 per term.
