We also focus in The Fundamentals such as navigation for the Milonga (Social Dance Event),communication with our partners, musicality.
We use the basic Salida (start), the Baldosa (square), Caminata (walk), Ochos Foward/Back (walking with pivotes),and Giros (turns), Cambios De Frente (change of frames).The combinations of all these elements allow us to dance naturally, fluidly ans smoothly.
We teach the Steps from the lead all the way through the resolution. During every class we also talk about how to approach social tango dancing. We talk about the milongas,the etiquette, how to invite a partner to dance, and the tricks for smooth navigation.
