This is a common exclamation when people come to the studio for the first time, especially the old hands who have seen their share of studios!
The Logan Dance Sydney has a lovely ‘old school’ dance studio feel that is conducive to all of the calmer activities like yoga and ballet as well as the most active and energetic classes like salsa, Rock’n’Roll and Latin American.
We combine skills and technique in a friendly and fun environment, which gives us a welcoming modern feel in a studio steeped in history and tradition.
We have taught dance classes in Randwick for 17 years, and welcome you to see our new location in Randwick, and your first class is free!
The Milonga is a style of dance performed to Milonga music and incorporates some of the elements used in the Argentine Tango.
Argentine Tango is such a beautiful dance style - passionate and romantic with a rich culture.
The Ballroom Tango could best be described as the more sophisticated of the two whereas the Argentine Tango reflects a type of raw passion and moodiness that is characteristic of this dance.
The style has grown in popularity and spread internationally as a standard ballroom dance style. The Argentine Tango has added modern elements to the dance without removing the classic elements of the style.
Argentine Tango is danced in closed stance, with most of the action happening in the intricate steps of the feet. Essentially Tango is walking with a partner and music.
