This is an absolute beginners class for people curious to have their first tango experience of elegant tango as danced in the best dance halls of Buenos Aires.
Tango is a strong dance that has little to know softness to it, highlighting strong lines with sharp snappy movements makes this dance one of the more interesting ones. If you like sharp clean lines then this dance will probably be right for you
Argentine Tango is a partner dance that developed over the last century in Argentina’s capital city, Buenos Aires. It is very different from the Tango in International and American ballroom dancing.
Tango has many differing styles, the most popular being the Argentine Tango which developed in the 1880’s and the Ballroom Tango which is one of the standard ballroom dances. It is dominated by fast, aggressive movements combined with intense moments between partners.
