Locate your own pigments on a blank colour wheel (provided) and use the colour mixing system to easily and confidently mix any target colour using at most three paint pigments plus white.
We offer classes for all abilities in wonderful studios with ample parking, minutes from the CBD. We have a great choice of courses including Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Printmaking, Ceramics, Website Construction, Jewellery and Children’s Art, all of which are taught by expert tutors, specialist in their respective fields.
Art classes at BiA are a relaxing way to explore your creativity. They are structured and instructive, but enjoyable and energizing at the same time. A wide range of subjects and skill levels are available. Numbers in classes are kept to a maximum of 12 so that the tutor has plenty of time to speak to each student individually, as well as teaching the group as a whole.
There is a great sense of community at BiA so many students continue with their classes term after term, sometimes in the same class sometimes progressing in skill level or changing subject. Everyone is welcome.
This introductory class is the perfect platform to explore the human form through life drawing. A judgement-free space where questions are welcome, we’ll walk you through a simple step-by-step process for depicting the human figure on paper.
One of the special features of our general studio classes is that we don't work in terms or semesters, and sessions are tailored to fit the needs of our students.

Learn how to draw illustrated scenes inspired by the style of Julia Sarda, from classic children’s stories such as: The Secret Garden, Anne of Green Gables, The Borrowers, Oliver Twist and The Hobbit. Listen to a small part of each story as you colour in your art.
NDIS classes are held in Fiona's home studio. Classes are one on one and run for approximately 1.5 hours (negotiable). Morning / Afternoon tea supplied. Students work on a range of projects suited to their abilities and interests.
