Nkangala TVET College was formed in 2003 with the merger of Witbank, Middelburg, Mpondozankomo, and CN Mahlangu campuses (formerly Technical Colleges) in Nkangala region. Waterval boven Campus was transferred in 2011 from Ehlanzen FET College. The college was formed after the adoption of FET Act of 1996 by Parliament.
The College is the largest educational institution in the Mpumalanga Province, serving the community in the Nkangala region. CN Mahlangu and Waterval Boven are the predominately rural.
Welders are skilled craftsmen, who construct or repair metal products, often using different hand tools and machinery.
Boiler Making course is offered by Churchil Technical College. Churchil Technical College is committed to ensure that learners are equipped with requisite knowledge to face challanges of the contemporary world of work.
The learner is exposed to relevant equipment in the workplace during his 54 weeks plant training. The theory must also be consolidated with the practical.
Boiler Making training is offered by Ishago Mining Skills. Ishago Mining Skills is an international training institution that was established to meet the ongoing needs of the African workforce in the current dynamic business environment.
This course provides theoretical training to artisans and is offered via the NATED programme. N3 is the intermediate level in this 3-level engineering programme.
