Ever feel like you could be more assertive, or would you like to feel more confident and in control in certain situations?
This course is designed to introduce you to the skills and techniques of being confident, assertive and the ideas that underpin them.
This short course will start off with an introduction about what is assertiveness and different types of social behaviour.
You will explore assertiveness techniques, how to say ‘no’, and about managing criticism.
The course is designed to teach you skills for life which will make it easier for you to recognise different kinds of behaviour, how to act in an assertive way that shows self-respect and respect for others and ways to decline or say no when you want to.
You will also be encouraged to feel confident about your right to be you and you will cover personal development such as progressing in the workplace.
