Are you a manager?
Our course will help you to:
Stand up to pressure from your own boss.
Stand up to pressure from your staff members.
Keep your cool when you communicate tricky stuff to staff.
Course method
This course is about doing things, and not just sitting listening to the trainers talking to you. So there will be:
Experiential exercises: interacting with other course members (which is usually fun!)
Use of video to improve your impactfulness. NB We know that some people can’t stand the thought of seeing themselves on camera: no one is forced into it, but we nearly always find that people are ready for this after they have settled into the course day.
Input from tutors in informative, short chunks – no boring lectures!

About Us
From 1991 to 2001 I spent a long time training in counselling, co-counselling and psychotherapy, going to all sorts of groups and courses, getting my own therapy, and working as a therapist in both the NHS and in charities.
Since 2001 I have been in private practice as a counsellor and psychotherapist, seeing individuals who come to see me for all sorts of reasons: it’s an infinitely interesting and fruitful job, the kind that if I won the lottery, I’d still want to do it.
In 2011, I set up Confidence Tracks to embrace the courses in confidence-building and co-counselling that I have now been running for several years.
Here’s the formal bit about me:
Richard Mills
BA, PGDIM, BSc, LGSMD, BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist
At some point I will write some more here about what all the above really means – it’s not just a bunch of letters, after all. For the moment, if you want to check me out a bit more, have a look at my therapy website, where I get a bit more personal:
