Even at this fundamental level, AutoCAD is one of the most sophisticated computer applications that you are likely to encounter.
The teaching strategy is to start with the basic tools that enable the student to create and edit a simple drawing, then continue to develop those tools. More advanced tools introduced throughout the course.
Prerequisites

The autocad technician program trains students in 2d and 3d autocad drawing and management tools commonly used in engineering, architectural design, drafting and modeling. Drawing skills for employment in the engineering and construction industries will be emphasized.
Audience: Draftsmen, technicians, technical agents, architects, engineers, designers, etc. who need to produce projects or supervise the work of designers.
As part of this piping drafting training program, students learn fundamental administrative skills, including essential software such as Autodesk Autocad, interpersonal, and business communication skills.
This is a foundational-level course in the versatile autocad software suite used in mechanical, architectural and civil design and drafting contexts. By the end of this course, participants will be able to create basic 2d drawings in the autocad software.
The AutoCAD Essentials ROA program applies AutoCAD ® computer applications, as well as drafting and 3D graphic presentation, with the design skills used in the preparation of architectural, engineering, and construction projects.
