Course designed to provide the required knowledge and understanding of electrical vehicle charging points in compliance with BS 7671, the Electrical Safety Quality and Continuity Regulations and the new IET Code of Practice.
This three-day Electric Vehicle Course has been designed to give you the knowledge and skills required to work safely on Electric and Hybrid vehicles whilst carrying out diagnostic, testing and repair activities within a routine maintenance situation.
This Level 1 Course is a competence-based scheme, with some examinations, covering all aspects of the repair and servicing of road vehicles.
Learners will have an interest in gaining the knowledge to work safely when carrying out repair activities on Electric/Hybrid vehicle high voltage systems.
Theory lessons covering the required technology are classroom based, giving you the opportunity to take notes to aid your studies. Practical lessons take place in the motor vehicle workshops and give you the opportunity to develop the skills needed to pass the assessments.
