INSD Kolkata was established in 2018. Our mission from Day 1 was to become a specialist school for arts, design and media in India by following the highest international standards and regularly working with the best minds of the industry globally.The ideology behind our education system is to contribute significantly to the development of the Indian Design Industry. These includes the International exchange programme’s to USA, DUBAI, PARIS and CANADA and also Domestic shows and events like Times Fashion Week, Couture Runway Week and Asian Designer Week to mention a few.

Alongside these major events, INSD holds a unique opportunity at central level called the “Annual INSD Talent Showcase” wherein students from all over India get a unique platform to showcase their collection amidst the glam and limelight of Bollywood celebrities and leading designers from the industry.By nurturing creative talent and fostering technical competence, INSD Kolkata aims to provide our students the best access to learning and think design environment to the young budding designers.
