The IIE Bachelor of Commerce in Law aims to equip learners with a well-rounded, broad education to produce graduates equipped with the knowledge base, theory and methodology of commerce and the general rules of law.
Graduates will be familiar with the relationship between various aspects of commerce and the general rules of law.
Graduates will hold in high regard their duty to contribute meaningfully to the development of the local and global society and economy. The qualification will equip the learner with specialised knowledge in certain law modules, whilst the commerce modules will allow the learner the ability to develop a specialisation in tax, accounting or governance and compliance.
This qualification will also impart general skills and competencies in numeracy management, literacy and articulation. The qualification is an ideal first degree grounding for a variety of careers in law, business and government.
It furthermore enables graduates to articulate to the two-year advanced Bachelor of Laws qualification, which is also offered on this campus.
Successful completion of this programme leads to an IIE qualification.
