Sanjay Gandhi College of Education was established in 1980 by great visionary Sri.P.Sadasivan, Chairman, Sir.M.Visvesvaraya Education Trust. He started this institution as his first venture with the objective of promoting quality and value based education. Sanjay Gandhi College of Education is permanently affiliated to Bangalore City University, recognized by NCTE admitted to grant-in-aid in 2009, included under 2(F) and 12(B) of UGC act and accredated by NAAC with B grade.
