Sanjay Gandhi College of Education

Sanjay Gandhi College of Education was established in 1980 by great visionary Sri.P.Sadasivan, Chairman, Sir.M.Visvesvaraya Education Trust.  He started this institution as his first venture with the objective of promoting quality and value based education.  Sanjay Gandhi College of Education  is permanently affiliated to Bangalore City University, recognized by NCTE admitted to grant-in-aid in 2009, included under 2(F) and 12(B) of UGC act and accredated by NAAC with B grade.  

Our institution aims at empowering the student teachers with the professional and social competencies to compete with the challenging  global world.  The synergetic efforts of managment, teaching, non teaching staff and students who have been working as team with excellent cooperation and zeal help the institution to grow from stature to strength in the pursuit of knowledge and excellence.

The college has the previlage of having a healthy harmonious ambience and rich values which have played pivotal role which help in shaping the future teachers.  Our mission is to transform students into rational thinkers and spiritually enlightened individuals.
