Stand out with a Law Degree

• Graduating with a UOL law degree will open many doors for you- like what it has done for many of our UOL Law graduates. Our graduates are now practicing lawyers, in-house legal executives, and management executives in commercial corporations (e.g. bank, etc.) in Malaysia. Many are also working in Singapore as in-house legal executives and paralegals.
• In addition, if you are interviewing for a job which doesn’t require a law degree (such as in banking, shipping, enforcement, etc), having a law degree will make you stand out among your competition. And finally, if you are planning to specialize in taxation, a first degree in law (instead of accounting) will give you the edge because you can be a tax lawyer.

• The key principles and values of a range of legal areas extending beyond the core.
• Some in-depth knowledge of specialist areas.

Subject application / problem solving - Students will be able to:

• Identify the legal issues arising from particular factual situations;
• Apply knowledge so as to provide practical and reasoned advice and solutions to particular problems over a wide range of legal areas.
