Eligibility

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the degree course of Bachelor of Science-Information Technology, shall have passed XII standard examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or it’s equivalent with Mathematic and Statistics as one of the subject and should have secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate for open category and 40% marks in aggregate in case of Reserved category candidates.
Candidate who have passed Diploma (Three years after S.S.C. – Xth Std.) in Information Technology/ Computer Technology/ Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ Electrical, Electronics and Video Engineering and Allied Branches/Mechanical and Allied Branches/ Civil and Allied branches are eligible for direct admission to the Second Year of the B.Sc. (I.T.) degree course.
However, the Diploma should be recognized by the Board of Technical Education or any other recognized Government Body. Minimum marks required 45% aggregate for open category candidates and 40% aggregate for reserved category candidates.
Candidates with post HSC-Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Technology/ Computer Engineering/ Computer Science/ and Allied branches will be eligible for direct admission to the Second Year of B.Sc. (I.T.).
However, the Diploma should be recognized by the Board of Technical Education or any other recognized Government Body Minimum Marks required 45% aggregate for open category candidates and 40% aggregate for reserved category candidates.

Chembur Karnataka Sangha's Chembur Karnataka Night College was established in the year 2018 by Chembur Karnataka Sangha. It is located in CKS Educational Campus, Vidyasagar, hardly 10 - 15 minutes walking distance from Chembur railway station.
The main aim of the Sangha to start Night Degree College is to provide an opportunity for the poor students who can work to fund their own education and continue their higher education, also they can build their career on their own efforts and finance, thus they can Graduate while Earning during day.

Chembur Karnataka Sangha was founded in the year 1955 with sole intention to promote the cause of education. True to its objectives, Chembur Karnataka High School was started in 1965 with mere 40 students, three teachers and two small sheds in a rickety garage for classrooms were all the school was in its nascent stage in 1965. The hardship of place, finances did not mitigate the enthusiasm of the promoters then to further their dreams. Because of their unsaturated spirit of selfless services towards the less fortunate society strata, they zealously worked to make a small beginning into a giant educational campus today.

Chembur Karnataka High School began in a humble way in a small place but with high hopes and boundless enthusiasm. The rapid growth of the school forced it to be shifted to the Natraj Building and its annex, but even this has proved inadequate. Hence the school later shifted to current premises at “CKS Educational Campus”, where it grew in leaps and bounds over the years, and now stands tall as a renowned institution in the locality.

Today the school excellently imparts education to nearly 4000 students and offering two medium of instruction- English from Nursery to SSC and Kannada from Std VIII to Std X. Junior College of Arts and Commerce is also part of school. Quality education is given a firm foundation through inculcation of moral values in the young minds. The eco-friendly spacious campus ensures that students learn their lessons amidst natural surroundings.

It is a matter of considerable pride and gratification that the Sangha with its excellent track record has grown from strength to strength, and has opened from Play Group to Night Degree College and also running Law College with 5 Years LLB, 3 Years LLB and LLM.
