Chavara Institute Kochi,the Educational wing of Chavara Cultural Centre, Kochi, commenced its activities in 1984. CIMAMS is part of C M I congregation and the organisation is lead CMI priests with an objective to promote higher learning and educate the young citizen-leaders of our country. St Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of the CMI Congregation is the guiding light and the heavenly patron of our institute.

The new seven storeys building situated in the heart of Kochi is packed with all state of art facilities hence it enables the students to become global professionals in Hospitality Industry. The expanse facility includes 5 production labs, Airport simulation lab, Library, Auditorium, Computer and English labs. We are the 1st Skill knowledge partner of Jain deemed to be University, Bengaluru, authorised training centres for IATA, Canada and IELTS.

The faculty is blended with Industry and Academic experience this helps immensely in making the students globally employable. CIMAMS support International language learning and hence has under its roof “Alliance Française (French Language learning centre) and "Goethe-Zentrum " (German Language examination Centre) for imparting skills in international languages, Japanese language learning centre is also in the offing.

We are the Skill Knowledge partner of Jain deemed to be University, Bengaluru and are offering job oriented Vocational Degree Programs ( B.Voc). B.Voc programs are offered in Hotel Management, Airport & Aviation Management, Tourism & Hospitality.

Being an industry leader since 35 years CIMAMS offers its own diplomas in Professional Cookery, Hotel Management, Airline and Airport Management. Internationally recognised diploma’s / certification’s are also envisaged - IATA Canada Diploma, IELTS, AHLEI. Our state of art labs provide the right platform for the student to experiment and excel. The placement cell supports the students in getting the right placements.
