New York Badminton Center is founded by Mr. Wu in 1997, started with varies high school gyms in Manhattan and Queens, on irregular schedule. In 2010, Flushing NYBC opens. It started to offer 7 day for players and initiated Summer Camp for kids.
Flushing center has 6 professional courts and 1 training court. Badminton mats were installed on top of the elevated wood flooring for maximum shock-absorbing and pressure reduction for knees and ankles.
Badminton is truly one of the most exciting sports to play and watch. In fact in 1992 badminton become a medal sport in the Summer Olympic Games, bringing forth many talented athletes from all over the world.
Badminton Private Training is offered by Eastbay Badminton Association for all ages and skill level. Eastbay Badminton Association is a full service facility with 8 Olympic standard courts dedicated entirely to the sport of badminton that is open to the general public.
This program is designed for 9 years old and younger children who are new to playing badminton. The focus is on teaching the fundamentals of badminton, rules of the game, applicable badminton terminologies, and basic skills sets.
Much like the sport of tennis, badminton is a great racquet sport that offers a tremendous amount of benefits for participants.
