We are dedicated to providing a safe environment for our dancers, families and staff. We have gone above and beyond to implement enhanced safety procedures to ensure our dancers have a safe environment to dance in all year long.
En pointe means "on the tip" and is a part of classical ballet technique. Pointe developed from the desire for dancers to appear weightless and has evolved to enable dancers to dance on the tips of their toes for extended periods of time.
It allows the classes of other forms of dance, such as: jazz, contemporary, to move at a faster pace as the dancers already know the required foundation steps learned in ballet.
Pointe starts with pre-ballet, which is an introduction to ballet. Pointe work is available to students who show the physical strength needed, while meeting proper age requirements to safely execute this style of dance.
This maximizes personalized attention and quality instruction. All classes are once a week, with the exception of Christmas and March Break. We are open on all holiday Mondays except for Family Day.
Learn the basics of ballet while building grace, poise, flexibility and strength. Experience the classical style without the intimidation or stress often associated with Ballet. We will take plenty of time to explain the language of ballet and address questions.
