Canada’s Professional School of Music & Arts was established in 2003. Since then, over 5000 students have taken music, art or dance lessons at our school. We offer variety of classes at our studio in Mississauga and online for students of all ages and levels.
We offer dance classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, acro, lyrical/contemporary, as well preschool and toddler classes.
We offer private music classes such as piano, guitar, voice, violin, flute, clarinet, ukulele and drums lessons, preschool piano program , history and harmony, we prepare students for Royal Conservatory of Music Exams, as well as festivals and competitions.
We offer art classes in drawing, painting, cartooning, portfolio preparation as well as kinder art classes for preschoolers.
We have music, art and dance classes at a variety of times so that you can book classes for different children at the same time to save you hours of driving and waiting time. We have regular music and dance recitals that students can perform in if they wish.
Our teachers all have university degrees and are very experienced in catering to the needs of new students.
Ballet dance class is offered by Xpressions Creative Dance. At Xpressions Creative Dance, we are dedicated to providing a family oriented dance studio, where our caring and qualified staff create an environment for dancers to Xpress themselves.
The classes offered begin with pre-primary ballet for children aged 5 ½ and older, primary for children aged 7 and older, grade 1 ballet ages 8-10 and so on. The grades of ballet do not follow the same ages as public school grades.
The focus of this class is on strength and flexibility, turning and turn-out and general body technique.
Cecchetti Method Exam classes are offered as well. Students should wear a bodysuit (any colour and style) pink or white rights and pink ballet slippers. Ballet skirts and shorts are optional. Hair should be worn in a bun.
The ballet syllabus starts with pre-ballet, which is an introduction to ballet.
